Position Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct Trainings/Coaching Sessions for assigned teams (locally + remotely)
  • Organize and manage Training Schedules for assigned teams
  • Maintain an active role in the Scrum Master Community of Practice
  • ·Support Scrum Team members with the usage of physical and electronic tools, e.g. Jira and physical Tier Process boards
  • Take part and coach the structured rhythm of activities throughout the Sprints, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives for assigned teams
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement through Sprint Retrospectives and by encouraging experimentation and innovation in processes
  • Work to maximize team productivity and remove any impediments that obstruct the Sprint goals
  • Identify and track internal and external dependencies
  • Be an advocate for Lean/Agile adoption and promote a collaborative environment and culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in any combination of the following roles or functions: IT (Software Development, Infrastructure, Operations), Scrum Master, Project Management, Agile Coach

Knowledge and skills:

  • Full understanding and embracing of the Lean Agile mindset and values Able to deal with high degree of ambiguity, maintain composure and negotiate solutions in challenging and stressful situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus an ability to motivate teams
  • Ability to solve complex problems where in-depth analysis and evaluation of various factors is required
  • Knowledge of Lean and Agile techniques and terminology
