The person hired for the position of Production Operator will work in an assigned team under the direction of a team lead to accomplish daily production targets.
This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Understanding and following plant safety policies and practices
- Understanding and following process safety guidelines
- Understanding and following process quality guidelines
- Monitoring processes
- Responding to and correcting process upsets
This position will require:
- Weekend work
- Working overtime
- Working on holidays as needed
- Short notice shift coverage
- Frequent physical demands, including:
- lifting up to 50 lbs.
- frequent standing/sitting/squatting
- Possess a [High School Diploma/GED] or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
- Experience working in chemical manufacturing in a private, public, government, or military environment.
