Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Production Operator will work in an assigned team under the direction of a team lead to accomplish daily production targets.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.

 Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Understanding and following plant safety policies and practices
  • Understanding and following process safety guidelines
  • Understanding and following process quality guidelines
  • Monitoring processes
  • Responding to and correcting process upsets

This position will require:

  • Weekend work
  • Working overtime
  • Working on holidays as needed
  • Short notice shift coverage
  • Frequent physical demands, including:
    •  lifting up to 50 lbs.
    • frequent standing/sitting/squatting

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Possess a [High School Diploma/GED] or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in chemical manufacturing in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M employment testing as a part of the selection process.
